Covid-19 Pandemic

The council is doing what it can to assist residents at this difficult time. The latest government advice can be found at coronavirus-covid-19-information . 

Community Help Line

A community help line has been established. The clerk is compiling a list of volunteers and those requiring assistance. The shop at Ley Green remains open (with access restrictions) but the post office countet at Breachwood Green wiill not open. Contact the clerk for more information.

The April Parish Council meeting is cancelled and the next meeting will be Tuesday 5th May.

About The Parish

Kings Walden Parish Council serves the villages of Breachwood Green, Kings Walden and Ley Green and the hamlets of Darley Hall, Lawrence End, Diamond End, Wandon Green and Austage End in Hertfordshire.

The parish council is the lowest level of local government and comprises eight elected councillors and the clerk. The parish council is not connected with the church which has a separate website – see http://www.kingswaldenoffleylilley.com/st-mary-s-king-s-walden
